Short transmission today—potent, though.
This morning, I was sitting in meditation when I felt my face relax.
I thought I was already relaxed… but then, another layer of tension melted away. That’s when I realized — I wasn’t actually relaxed at all.
Then, I noticed my chest was tense too.
And the most fascinating … My mind was also racing with stressful & serious thoughts.
The longer I sat there, the more tension I became aware of.
Each time I noticed tension, it would relax & melt away.
But sometimes, there would be layers. My face could relax, and then relax again, and then deeper again.
Relaxation has layers.
Tension is a Signal of Stress
What came through in that moment was this:
If I’m experiencing stress or seriousness in my life, it will often show up as tension in my body.
But if I’m playful, trusting, and having fun, my body is relaxed.
Think about it—top athletes perform at their best when they’re RELAXED.
If you try too hard, if you take things too seriously, your body gets tense, rigid, and tight.
But when you’re relaxed, laid back, and not overthinking? You flow with it.
Where Are You Holding Tension?
Here’s the invitation I want to bring into life:
➡ How can you live with more relaxation?
➡ Where are you holding physical tension?
➡ Can you let it go? Can you self-massage? Stretch? Roll?
➡ Where are you holding mental tension?
➡ Are you clinging to stressful thoughts?
➡ Are you making life harder than it needs to be?
➡ Where are you holding emotional tension?
➡ Are you clinging onto emotions that keep you rigid?
➡ Can you process, express, and release them?

I love this because I often catch myself getting very serious, tense, and rigid—just like this morning. No wonder I sometimes struggle to create or feel stuck, nothing flows from this place of tension.
